New Capital One Walmart Rewards Card members can Earn a $50 bonus

The holiday shopping season kicked off earlier than usual this year with retailers already running holiday deals. To help offset your holiday shopping, Capital One is releasing an Early Spend Bonus for the Capital One® Walmart Rewards™ Card.

New cardholders can receive a $50 bonus after spending $300 within the first three months from account approval. This offer runs for a limited-time and its availability depends on how you apply for the card — in Walmart stores or online.

New applicants who apply in Walmart stores can benefit from this welcome bonus beginning November 1 through December 26, 2020. If you plan to apply online, you have a smaller window from November 17 through December 1, 2020.

In addition to the early spend bonus, new cardmembers can earn 5% back on in-store purchases when using Walmart Pay for the first 12 months after approval (after, earn 2%).

That’s on top of the card’s existing rewards:

  • 5% cash back at Walmart.com
  • 2% cash back on Walmart in-store purchases, at restaurants and on travel
  • 1% cash back everywhere else Mastercard is accepted

Be aware that the Capital One Walmart Rewards Card is significantly different from the Walmart Rewards® Card. The Capital One version of the card can be used anywhere Mastercards are accepted, whereas the Walmart Rewards Card is a private-label card that you can only use at Walmart properties (Walmart.com, the Walmart app, Walmart stores and Murphy USA gas stations).

  • Right now, Prime members using Amazon Reload for the first time get an extra $10 bonus with an Amazon gift card reload of $100 or more.
  • Amazon Reload makes adding funds to an Amazon gift card easier with direct reloading and Auto-Reload.
  • Additionally, starting October 26, new gift card buyers will get $15 in promotional credit with any purchase of $50 or more in Amazon gift cards.
  • The funds never expire and there’s no service fee for using either Amazon Reload or your gift card. On top of these first-time bonuses, Amazon Prime members can earn 2% rewards on every reload.
  • Visit Business Insider’s homepage for more stories.

Right now, using Amazon Reload for the first time will get you an extra $10 with any reload of $100 or more — if you’re a Prime subscriber. It’s free money just for reloading your gift card.

If you’ve never shopped with an Amazon gift card, you’ve probably never crossed paths with Amazon Reload. The service allows shoppers to directly reload their account’s gift card balances with their own credit or debit card and schedule automatic refills.

But if you can wait until October 26, you can nab a $15 promotional credit with the purchase of $50 or more in Amazon gift cards. You’ll have until the end of the year to take advantage of this offer.

Amazon provides these promotions to incentivize gift card use as a debit card. Doing so has a few benefits: Using an Amazon gift card like a debit card allows you to keep detailed track of your orders via the Gift Card Balance page. It also boils down all of your purchases to one line on your credit card bill — the charge from reloading your gift card.

Additionally, Prime members can earn 2% rewards on every reload after providing a linked bank account, debit card number, and US driver’s license number. This gets you even more value when loading cash onto your gift card.

If you’re not a Prime member yet and want to give it a shot, consider trying a free 30-day trial.

Watch: Shinhwa Members Congratulate And Support Jun Jin And Ryu Yi Seo At Their Wedding

On October 19, Shinhwa’s Jun Jin and his wife, Ryu Yi Seo, revealed their wedding on the SBS show “Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 – You Are My Destiny.”

Jun Jin and Ryu Yi Seo held their wedding on September 27 after initially postponing the ceremony due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

On the morning of the wedding, both the bride and groom expressed nervousness for the big day ahead. Jun Jin said, “I was so nervous the moment I arrived at the salon. I got even more nervous after seeing the bride.” After hearing that the Shinhwa members would be arriving soon, he said, “I think I’ll be more nervous after seeing them. I feel like the past 19 years we’ve spent together will pass like a kaleidoscope through my brain.”

After the preparations for the wedding were complete, the Shinhwa members arrived. Eric came with his wife, actress Na Hye Mi. When Jun Jin asked him if he had also been nervous on his wedding day, Eric replied, “Of course.” Eric also caught the panelists’ attention by taking care of his wife, who was nervous around the camera, and holding her hand as they walked around. Jun Jin quipped, “He’s similar to me in that we both take care of our wives.”

Shin Hye Sung officiated the ceremony, while Kim Dong Wan sang a congratulatory song. Shin Hye Sung said, “As a member who has been with him for 20 years, as someone who is like an older brother to him, I am so happy for him.”

About Ryu Yi Seo’s grand entrance into the room, Jun Jin said, “It felt like I was seeing an angel. I thought that I would be by her side no matter what.”

The bride made her entrance alone, and he explained later on the show, “Her father passed away six years ago. I can be a bit of a kid sometimes, but as I saw her come in alone, I thought that I should be a more dependable husband.”

As the couple exchanged rings and vows, the Shinhwa members got visibly emotional. Kim Dong Wan sang the congratulatory song, but Jun Jin prepared a special surprise event for his wife by singing one of his songs for her.

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — The Brooklyn congregation planning a Hasidic wedding that state officials expected 10,000 people to attend Monday has announced it will no longer go on as planned.

A statement sent Sunday from the Congregation Yetev Lev D’Satmar said the wedding will only be open to “close family members.”

As we first reported Friday, according to flyers obtained by CBS2, the grandchild of Satmer Grand Rebbe Zalman Leib Teitlebaum is to be married.

The state and city sheriff’s departments served an order Friday night asking the congregation to cancel or postpone the wedding unless it is limited to 50 people.

Officials were worried a large crowd would cause a new spike in COVID-19 infections.

“It was outside of the target red or orange or yellow cluster zone, but the information that our investigation revealed was that upwards of 10,000 individuals were planning to attend,” said Beth Garvey, special counsel and senior advisor to the governor.

The congregation said the wedding was planned with “COVID-19 regulations in mind,” and “appropriate guidelines,” were going to be followed.
