He’s said to be portraying his famous TV character five years in the future this season.
And actor KJ Apa was again seen sporting a shorter haircut than usual on Saturday in Vancouver, Canada, where he’s been filming the fifth season of his hit CW series Riverdale as series lead Archie Andrews.
The New Zealand-born actor, 23, looked casual for the outing, in a cropped white tee and open black shirt.
On the bottom, he wore black slacks with a drawstring waist.
KJ sported black shoes with white stripes and laces.
He wore a disposable standard blue surgical face mask, and had his earbuds in as he headed to grab a hot Starbucks beverage.
Apa plays Andrews on the hit teen mystery show, loosely based on the Archie comics.

How to pop a pimple yourself, according to Dr. Pimple Popper’s tips
Insider producer Celia Skvaril video chatted with Dr. Sanda Lee, aka Dr. Pimple Popper, to get her professional advice on how to pop a pimple at home. While Lee doesn’t recommend that people pop their own pimples, pimple popping is a habit that many struggle to quit. With much of the world staying at home, people aren’t seeing their dermatologists and estheticians regularly and may be fighting a higher-than-usual urge to pick at their skin. How to explain a coronavirus-related layoff on your resume
If you’ve been laid off due to the coronavirus pandemic and are on the job hunt, you’re probably wondering how to explain it on your resume.
He’s been the lead of the show over the course of 81 episodes since 2017.
Recently, KJ unveiled the trailer for his latest feature film, titled Songbird.
The movie, produced by Michael Bay, takes place in a near future in which a deadly and highly infectious disease called Covid-23 is ravaging the globe.
The movie also stars Peter Stormare and Demi Moore, among others.
So far, the reception to the film has been lukewarm at best, with many Twitter users remarking on how it’s too soon or close to home to have a film about a grisly pandemic while the world is still experiencing a real one.
In fact, Songbird will now no longer receive a theatrical release, due to COVID-19.
Instead, the film will debut on PVOD in December.
This has been the case for countless other films, including the highly anticipated DC film Wonder Woman 1984 – which will now premiere on HBO Max on Christmas Day alongside a limited theatrical release.
