He’s said to be portraying his famous TV character five years in the future this season.

And actor KJ Apa was again seen sporting a shorter haircut than usual on Saturday in Vancouver, Canada, where he’s been filming the fifth season of his hit CW series Riverdale as series lead Archie Andrews.

The New Zealand-born actor, 23, looked casual for the outing, in a cropped white tee and open black shirt.

On the bottom, he wore black slacks with a drawstring waist.

KJ sported black shoes with white stripes and laces. 

He wore a disposable standard blue surgical face mask, and had his earbuds in as he headed to grab a hot Starbucks beverage.

The movie also stars Peter Stormare and Demi Moore, among others.

So far, the reception to the film has been lukewarm at best, with many Twitter users remarking on how it’s too soon or close to home to have a film about a grisly pandemic while the world is still experiencing a real one.

In fact, Songbird will now no longer receive a theatrical release, due to COVID-19.

Instead, the film will debut on PVOD in December.

This has been the case for countless other films, including the highly anticipated DC film Wonder Woman 1984 – which will now premiere on HBO Max on Christmas Day alongside a limited theatrical release.
